Maria Garsel was born in Latvia, Riga (on the shore of Baltic Sea) Formally trained in the fields of Finance and Philology (Russian, Latvian, French and English languages), Maria’s true passion always lied in art. Before her immigration to the United States in 2000, Maria was a co-founder of a modern art dance group in Riga, where she performed for a few years. After moving to New York, Maria chooses a career in fashion, working in a variety of fields there. All that experience sums up in her paintings, a field where her talent opens up to the fullest: movement, style and color, structure and geometrical forms – all interlocks there.

Artem Mirolevich was born in 1976, in the city of Minsk, Russia. At the age of 17, Artem and his family moved to the States, Buffalo, NY. Artem graduated the School of Visual Art, in New York City, and was granted a scholarship from the Department of Illustration. One of his greatest inspirations during his four years as a student was a semester spent in Amsterdam at the Rietvield Academy of Art. Intrigued by the city’s cultural and architectural landscape, he used this inspiration to produce many works of art, including images of a post-apocalyptic city submerged deep under water. Invigorated by his experience abroad, he was drawn to the idea of exploring other countries of the world. He spent time traveling through Israel and Egypt.
